Pattern Mud Plus

Our batiked scarves are the perfect lightweight addition to your cool weather wardrobe! We start with natural unbleached cotton sourced from a Tanzanian textile mill. Our partner artisans use wax to stamp the patterns, then hand-dye the fabric to a vibrant coral. All of our patterns use hand-carved stamps based on our original designs. 

Due to the handmade nature of the process, the fabric retains natural textural variation.

Our hand-dyed cotton is all made by the fairly paid artisans of our partner co-operative in Tanzania. All of the co-op member artisans are all part-owners of the co-op, so they own 100% of the co-op and its profits.
